TRAVELERS BASEBALL ACADEMY
We are currently developing a 2017 Traveler Academy schedule that will include times and locations for the year. The camps will include basic and advanced training. We also will be having evaluation camps to help players advance their skills properly.
Travelers Baseball Academy is designed to develop youth baseball players on the basic skills necessary to reach their maximum potential. The Academy will host a minimum of 5 Training Camps and 5 Evaluation Camps annually. Each player will have the opportunity to be “certified” on 25 basic fundamental principles that are the foundation for playing baseball at the “Next Level”.
Players can attend any or all camps to achieve their individual goals. When site is finished players will be able to select any camp listed and submit the signup form to be pre-registered for the camps. www.travsacademy.com.
Training Camps: The Training Camps are designed to teach the basic fundamentals necessary to achieve on the field goals. The fundamentals instruction will come from years of experience at the Professional and College level. Academy coaches are highly trained in the basics baseball principles providing the best possible results.
Evaluation Camps: The Evaluation Camps are designed to "Evaluate" the development of the player based on the fundamentals that have been taught as well as the natural God given talent of the player. The players will be timed in running 60's and home to first foot speed as well as arm velocity and bat speed. The goal is to rank players and give them scores from 1-5 on the five main baseball scouting areas including: Running, Throwing, Fielding, Hitting and Power Hitting. The player will receive their 1-5 rankings based on their age level and also given an overall ranking.
